Platforms
Bamco built a cross-platform mobile rewards app that replaced an off-the-shelf provider: a gift-card lifecycle engineered around breakage economics, a two-product unlock mechanic driving cross-sell, payments-network API integration, magic-link auth and push notifications, shipping on iOS, Android and web.
A business running rewards on an off-the-shelf provider was boxed in: it could not shape the mechanics that actually drive the economics of a rewards programme, and it did not own the platform its customers used. It needed its own app, engineered around the levers that make rewards profitable, and integrated with the payments network that issues the value.
The platform is a cross-platform mobile app, one codebase shipping to iOS, Android and web. At its core is a gift-card lifecycle with pending, activated and redeemed states, engineered deliberately around breakage economics, the reality that not every issued reward is redeemed, which is central to whether a rewards programme makes money.
A two-product unlock mechanic drives cross-sell, using the reward structure to pull customers toward a second product. Value is issued through direct API integration with a major gift-card network. Access uses magic-link authentication, so there are no passwords to manage, and push notifications bring customers back. It is built on React Native and Expo over a Node.js and Supabase backend.
Bring us the idea you already have, or book an audit and we map where the money is leaking. Either way, you deal directly with the senior team that designs and builds it.
It replaced an off-the-shelf rewards provider with a platform the business owns and controls, engineered around the economics that actually make rewards work, and integrated directly with the payments network that issues the value.
Whether you can name exactly what you want built, or you just know something is leaking, the next step is the same conversation.
