Intelligence
Bamco built a real-time market intelligence system: it ingests exchange websocket feeds into TimescaleDB, runs a rolling correlation engine that detects lead-lag relationships across crypto, forex and metals, generates signals with confidence scores, and alerts through Telegram and Pushover, fronted by a dark terminal-style dashboard.
Markets move together in ways that are invisible without the right instrument: one asset class leads, another follows, and the lag is where the signal lives. Seeing that in real time across crypto, forex and metals needs live data ingestion, a purpose-built time-series store, and a correlation engine, not a spreadsheet refreshed by hand.
The system ingests live market data from exchange websockets and lands it in TimescaleDB, a time-series database suited to high-frequency data. Over that stream runs a rolling correlation engine that continuously measures how assets move relative to each other and detects lead-lag relationships, where one instrument's move reliably precedes another's.
When the engine finds something, it generates a signal with a confidence score and pushes alerts through Telegram and Pushover, so the user is notified the moment a relationship of interest appears. A dark, terminal-style React dashboard fronts the whole system for live monitoring. It runs as a Python and FastAPI backend, containerised with Docker.
Bring us the idea you already have, or book an audit and we map where the money is leaking. Either way, you deal directly with the senior team that designs and builds it.
It made an invisible market structure visible and actionable in real time: live ingestion, a correlation engine detecting lead-lag relationships, and confidence-scored signals delivered the moment they appear. A demonstration of Bamco's range into real-time data and signal systems.
Whether you can name exactly what you want built, or you just know something is leaking, the next step is the same conversation.
